The European Business Society at Duke is the premier resource for connecting Duke students to European Markets. We thrive on relationships, providing educational and professional value to our members, and supporting the companies that entrust us.
Duke students, no matter where you're from or what your background is, we are your best resource to gain early exposure to a career in Europe.
Operations
A new member’s path begins with training opportunities to learn about European Markets and develop the professional skills required to support the services we provide to partner firms. This is accomplished through peer-led training sessions, inviting industry-expert speakers, and hands-on experience. We also plan to soon manage a European fund of our own.
Partner Spotlight
Pranab Majumder - Duke Fuqua
Professor Majumder, as the Faculty Co-Director of the Fuqua Client Consulting Program, coordinates the sourcing of client projects, building MBA student teams, classroom content delivery and project management for about 30 projects and about 150 students in domestic and international locations.
EBS has partnered with Professor Majumder to deliver a tailor-made lecture series to our members, providing world-class training and insights on consulting to our team.
Project Spotlight
EBS at SelectUSA, in collaboration with InnovX
EBS collaborated with InnovX (Leading European Growth Accelerator) to help advise companies in this accelerator on their entry into the US. After months of research, EBS joined InnovX, the leaders of these companies, and leadership from the program's partner Raiffeisen bank, at the SelectUSA Foreign Direct Investment conference in Washington D.C..
